280 and 300 calipers

Morning,

I have the 300mm setup without any spacers fitted and I have no grinding. Seems a bit strange, it should just be a straight fit, apart from opening up the bolt holes on the bracket. I thought all the calipers were the same, maybe some are different?

Same here, no problems apart from my new caliper bolts were a mm or so too long and caught the disc so I had to put a washer behind the bolt head. No spacers required due to catching the slider as you call it.

As above, maybe different calipers?

Same here, no problems on mine! Mondeo ST220 calipers & 300mm Focus ST170 discs! :grin:

it might have been the guy that fitted my 280 brakes thought they needed it and fitted, Brakes are ace now kizza
Emergency stop nearly had my misses though the window

Same here, 300mm focus st discs, and mondeo calipers, no grindig, no spacers...
