ABS lights up, was diagnosed at ford with front right / rear left sensor fault

I have swapped the rear abs probes for known good ones and done resistance checks on all 4 probes. All read between 1.1 and 1.4 ohms, so all good.

Then tried AC voltage checks, the front oscillate between 50 - 200mv but the rear are barely registering and no AC is shown. I'm beginning to think the rear tone rings might need replacing or cleaning?

Also I'm completely stumped as to what's generating the front right fault code as the probe is functioning and picking up an AC signal, I can only think wiring (which visually looks good) or control unit? any thought much appreciated as its off the road at the moment waiting for MOT.

The car now does a crunching sound at around 12-15mph which it has never done before and a slight pulling up if off power, is this the self test?
