good evening puma fans

I am writting this to explain my extreme dissapointment at Adrian Flux and there policy. After taking a third car out with them on another car, today I have recieved a email saying an extra £56 with be added to my puma policy because a change in occupation.
It atonishes me to find that cause I can no longer work due to our daughter and me and the misses both need to be at home to care for our daughter that my premium has gone up.
I have just spent 50mins on phone to a 0344 number to be told there is nothing they can do as there only a broker and for me to pay it in two installments of £28 and a £10 admin fee on each will be added, but they have halfed admin fee. How can a admin fee be added for a bloody payment option search me.
I am absolutley disgutted with this and I will be mentioning this in a few forums and groups that I am a member of

Peace out puma fans

Firstly I agree about the admin fee, admin used to relate to paperwork, as practically everything these days involves simply pressing a few keys on a pc I fail to see what exactly the charge is for and it annoys the hell out of me as well.

I also agree with you on the "change of occupation" issue, how exactly does not working increase your risk? surely if anything you may well be on the road less now so surely that decreases the risk unless your driveway is very busy!!

I have never used Adrian Flux as premiums were always far higher than anybody else's, seems to me that some insurance companies need very little reason/excuse to bump up prices, advice for what its worth...drop them as soon as you can... oh and deduct the cost of that call from the admin fee

Hi,
I'm sorry to hear about the issues you have been experiencing with ourselves regarding your change of occupation.
It is out standard practice to apply admin fees on our installment plans I'm afraid.
With regards to the actual occupation change all insurers have terms for each individually rated occupation. These terms will be based on their stats for individual occupations. I do fully appreciate that costumers perception as to whether they think they have a good or bad occupation can vary greatly to their insurance companies. Not a lot we can do about that I'm afraid.
All insurance is statistically based and these are used when calculating the premiums.
Sorry.
Dan.
