air intake thoughts? ?

Hi folks.
Been playing with the air box. I decided to ditch the side intake and enlarged the front intake similar to the frp airbox mod and ran a flexible pipe pointing down to the bumper. It feels like it works ok but seems to loose abit of top end power. Is this because i need a side intake into airbox as well or is this due to low air pressure under the car as the pipe is pointing down rather than forwards to collect air? any suggestions?

i think whatever you do it wont any difference at all lol

I agree with steve. air intakes dont make enough difference that you'd notice much if any when driving.

i would use the standard airbox with the frp mod , for a daily use car i.e guessing this isn't a track dedicated car.

Did you seal the side hole?

As the guys say it does make little if no difference lol

ok, yeah its just a front feed pipe going down to bumper.
