BEWARE - clean your roof of snow

Please be aware that from tomorrow police will be stopping people who are driving with snow on the roof of their car and will issue a fixed penalty of £60 plus 3 points due to the hazard it can cause.

It is in the highway code (apparently).

How much snow counts I don’t know but best play it safe folks.
