i got it hooked up to the ignition so when it is powered on, the EL would turn on.

looking at the green ambient glow from the dash, I think i might need to change it to some other colour to make it look nicer... not sure if this is nice:

I love the interior of your car Elvin - it's clear a hell of a lot of effort has gone into it :)
 
Changing the dash lights is pretty easy, i did mine myself when changine to blue. The lights themselves are clear as standard, but there is a chunk of green plastic they have to shine through, giving the green colur. If you just want white light take the green plastic out, and thats it.

Is there any way the colour of the heater panel lights can be altered?
 
Im not sure, i got someone on pp1 to do my heater panel blue, and a guy on ebay did all my switches. I imagine its a similar set up, clear bulbs with green plastic in fron of them for the colour, though they could be grren leds so start with.
