Can someone remind me what size resistor is necessary to connect to the pre-tensioner wiring to put out the airbag light on fitting bucket seats please?
Sure I've seen them on ebay but can't remember the size
TIA
Paul

Hi Paul

I hope it's not too late but I have just had to resolve the following problem and luckily my neighbour is an electrician. For the pretensioner you don't need a resistor but a capacitor. The one we have identified is a 0.47uf 50v. We have tested it and the light went off fine. once I have soldered it in I will put up a guide.

Hope this helps

Neil

Neil, nope never too late!! For the moment I;ve resorted to reconnecting my pretensioners and cable tied them under my seat just for MOT purposes, but I do want a long term solution...look forward to seeing your guide!! Cheers, Paul

Hi Paul
