Cadwell Park 17th October MOT trackday meet.

Hello everyone.

I`m starting this thread to try arrange a trackday meet at Cadwell Park on Friday 17th October.
The trackday is being organised through Mazdaontrack and is open pit-lane format.

The cost is £120 for the tracktime. Extra driver £35, Passengers £10.
Tuition is FREE for 20 mins on the day(?), 1/2 day £150, full day £250.

I have spoken to Nick at MOT and he would be delighted to see us at one of his trackdays (not long got rid of his Thunder, wife had a Millie etc...)

But, its not just their trackday and they only have 30 (out of 60) places, and 17 have gone..
This means we need to book soon (within a week or two) if we are looking at taking 10-12 cars.
I booked my place tonight.
If the bookings do flood in he will be happy to hold us 2 or 3 places until the end of the month.
No discount I`m afraid, Still good value and a cracking track...

This invite is naturally open to all forum members, even if you have no desire to go out on track but just want to see what trackdays are all about (Its quite free to come watch)

This little idea of mine seems to be falling on it`s arse.
Never mind eh...
There will surely be one Puma (a 2.0l Escort and MG Maestro efi) going.
I can only remind anyone who fancy a blast round Cadwell, that this is a cracking offer and is selling out quickly...

Hi Sparx.
I appreciate Cadwell is tucked away, miles from anywhere...
There were a few really eager postings when I first muted the idea. (live and learn)

I think a track a bit more central could be a better idea for a Puma track venue..
I`m sure there is a thread on the forum, with someone trying to book Rockingham next year.
Somewhere like this would probably be easier for everyone to get to.

Gutted I can't come. Been round Cadwell a few times and love it in the Puma. Sadly we move house October so time, holiday from work and funds are tied up....

would love to do cadwell some time, but its not going to be this year, as is a long way north from Kent
