can't get in to puma

hi,

my key fob won't open my puma…how can i get in..i've tried just turning key in lock, but this doesn't work either.
I've changed battery in fob…no difference

ideas??

sounds like your battery is flat and your door lock is deadlocked, go in through the boot and pop the bonnet !

Update…

feeling bit stupid…after spending 10 minutes wiggling key in lock it finally opened…guess key fob is knackered…and locks a little stuck initially….ah well no blipping anymore, but at least i can drive….

thanks for the link…will i just be able to swap the blade with my current fob? also how hard is it to programme the fob to my car?

Hi yes the blade is just a swap over
For the central locking i think you just put the key in the ignition and turn it on and off 3 times that should do the central locking
For the imobilizer you get your original keys turn on and off then the new key do the same and leave it in for 5 mins
Over members please correct me if I'm wrong

Blade will come away from the fob, 3mm flat blade in the back and draw up it away from the blade.

Swap the transponder from your old fob in to that one and program up as per Craig's instructions (full instructions here - http://www.projectpuma.com/viewtopic.php?t=39" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false
