I am preparing to change my clutch and I will replace the clutch slave cylinder as well (the car is from 1998, it has 117 000 km and still with the original clutch). I ordered a new slave cylinder from Sachs (3182998603) but from what I see, it is different from the original one. The original one has connector and the pipe is connected facing the front of the car, while the new one has no connector and the connection port is towards the rear of the car.

Can I fit the original hose to the new slave cylinder or I need to change also the hose. I see that Sachs offers new clutch hose (6270998800), quite expensive though. What is your personal experience?

All went well with replacing the clutch kit and the clutch slave cylinder. Only I had to bend the tubing a little bit to fit in the new position. The coupling of the tubing fits well to the new cylinder. Thanks for the replies.
