Possibly from the thermostat housing area or the hose going to it, possibly a cracked plastic thermostat housing or gasket leak.

Or possibly from the water pump area, which might be a tell tale leak to let you know the water pump bearing is on the way out.

Or it might be from the radiator.

I found that when my thermostat housing was leaking, it was dripping down and made the water pump look like that was leaking.

i suppose i will have to drain it and check the housing.Am i right in saying that there is a coolant you can buy which you dont have to mix with water :?:

theres is if you dont mind paying 50% off it as water, cheaper to buy 5 litres of it from a motor factors and do a proper 50/50 mix and using the right type of coolant, then you have enough to top it up of it ever needs it :eek:k:
