engine modification

Hi Guys,

I am currently working on my first project puma 1.7

I am just about at the stage to start rebuilding the engine and i am after some advice,

I am wanting to modify it hopefully with bike throttle bodies and anything else i can find

My question is what would you guys recommend installing? I am throttle response and acceleration rather than top end speed

hey, a fairly overlooked aspect is the gearbox. I fully recommended getting a FRP gear box which makes a big difference to acceleration.

Hi,
a set of FRP cams, 4-2-1 manifold + ecu reprogram will probably see you north of 140bhp.
For more you can get even more aggressive cams + direct intake manifold (e.g FRP manifold).
