:-D Evening all.

Just a weeeee question.

Am getting myself a new but standard Exhaust system this week, and was wondering if there is anyway to give it extra protection. Is there any tips or tricks or something you can add to have it resist the elements a little longer..

Anyhows, was just a ponder. Hope you're all well and dandy! :-D

Adios for now. :eek:k:

Give it a couple of coats of black high tempereature spray paint. Same thing as 'BBQ paint'. Should make it last a little longer but i wouldnt worry too much.

EDIT: Edit you can pick this stuff up at most DIY stores. I bought one spray-can of BBQ paint from B+Q and thats more than enough for a full exhaust.

a company called hycote do a clear VHT paint

you can also get an aluminium finish one too, but I think it's more of a matte silver than a polished look so the clear may be better
