Fan keeps coming on after service

Posted this on ZSOC the other week but no one wanted to reply.

I took my ZS for a cambelt, water pump and coolant change the other week. However ever since, my radiator fan comes on A LOT. I can be crusing down a dual carriageway at 50mph in 5th gear, yet as soon as i slow down i can hear that the fan is on. Why does it come on all the time now? The fluid level is fine, and my temp gauge never goes above halfway.

Could be a faulty sender unit or damaged/earthing sender wire.
