First problem....

Right first real drive in the puma today and it makes a whistling/squeeling sound either belt or alternator etc...

anyone got a good idea which of the two it will be before i start spending... when i first start it, it makes the noise but when warm it only does it when im driving, and then doesnt do it on idle once warm.

Hope that makes sense, any help will be appreciated !

Im not an expert but auxillary belt or its tensioner or the alternator

And I wouldnt want to cause any unnecessary alarm but could it be the cam belt tensioner ?

Has your cam belt been changed ?

Best to get it on ramps or ramp or get it jacked up and have a listen, maybe take off the plastic covers on the side of the engine and have a look and listen
