Since the FRP doesn't carry a spare, what should be blocking the five sided rear boot drain plug? Is there a special grommet?

I think I'm right in saying that the wheel carrier mounts off there?

That's whats on mine...but its been bonded in place previously and the adhesive's given up.

Wanted to see what was 'meant' to be there before finding a better solution...

mine didnt come with one...cue the bandsaw and a piece of carbon fibre!

Just flat plate glued on with sealant

909 parts tend to be very technical, just look at the bent bit of steel pop riveted under your rear arches to close the gap between the new and old wing !!!

Nice and technical then!

Going to find a suitable rubber grommet instead.

Oh yes and cost £20 each !!!!

Ah but if those pop rivets also have a 909 part number then they're 'motorsport' and therefore add 3bhp each!
