Hi All,

can someone confirm if the door locks trip the imobiliser. Does it read if the locks are locked/unlocked. Strange question i know but I am transfering the loom/engine clocks, pedal box, colum into a project but the locks are a real pain to get out. If they are then i fear i will be cutting the doors.

I dont really get the locks and the connection if any to the ECU, I think the ECU only reads the key fob but unsure and need to know before i get the scrapper to pick up what is left of the car.

Yep, when you 'double lock' a door it arms the alarm. Manually, that is done by turning the key anti-clockwise and then clockwise when locking.
