Instrument Panel throwing a fit

LAst couple of times ive been out in the car, for a couple of seconds the traction control light and ABS light have both come on. On top of that, all the gauges have dropped to zero, then gone to full, then back to normal, like they're doing a test or something. Car performance doesn't seem affected. Anyone have any idea?

It’s usually a sign of the battery dying.

If the alternator is overcharging then the dashboard has inbuilt protection that causes the gauges to go back to zero.
Provided the battery starts the car check the charging voltage is less than 14.6V

The battery is pretty good, i didnt use the car for the first year i had it though, so maybe that knackered it a bit. At the minute im only using it about once a week so it might be getting a bit low?
