Right then...

Re-using the stripped down wiring loom in my Puma rally car requires the use of an analogue dash. However, the shell is a year 2000 one so doesn't have a hole for a speedo cable and the location needs to be quite precise so drilling from the passenger cell would require a metre-long drill bit. So the alternative is to measure and drill from the engine bay side.

If there is anyone with an analogue dash, could you look to see how viable it would be to describe and measure where to drill in the engine bay?

All help gratefully received!

Best bet would be to ask Ian g as he always has a number of puma stripped down.
