Hey all, bought my puma last saturday, its a t reg with 88000 on the clock with only 3 owners.

came with every mot it has been through and a pile of service history. rust isnt too bad on it, a little bubbling on the back.

will not be using it till january as that is when my insurance is up for renewal.

welcome to project p

Cossie brakes will be a great asset to your puma. :eek:k:
Mind you the fez looks good shame to strip it.

hey welcome to ProjP :eek:k:

I agree with Voa the fez looks great! You getting rid of it then?

What engine has the fiesta got installed ? Maybe a puma conversion on the fiesta instead of taking parts of it .... looks really nice...
Unless you have a genuine reason to start stripping the fiesta

Fiesta is only a 1.25. It's getting put back to standardish then getting sold

Reason for not doing engine change is it's cheaper to get insured on a 1.7 puma than the conversion

Fiesta is also got slight rust on rear arches. Doors. Has a faded door.

Time to move on and up I guess.

Plus didn't want to follow the crowd with putting a puma lump in the fiesta. Will be sad to see it go as its my first car

On other notes. Servicing the puma tomorrow. So will get better pics

Shame :-( the colour is quite nice - but agree with your reasons , sometimes you just have to move on :eek:k:

Remember if it is the 1.7 engine you need to make sure the cam belt has been changed every 5 years and also it maybe worth getting the water pump done at the same time.

Not updated for a while so will copy and past off another forum

i then forgot to take more pictures and it got dark!

we then removed rear beam off the fiesta and put in on the puma so the puma now was a powerfelx rear beam and is lowered 60mm, back is now level with the front haha

here is the picture of the rear lowered

Pressed Plates
6000k HID kit
Led rings for a go at something ;)
12.5mm axel spacers
6000k bulbs for full beam

looks cool beans, i like low pumas, is that lowered 60mm? you fitted the axle spacers yet?

I think you may find the fiesta beam is 11mm narrower then the puma one, might be an idea to source some axle spacers otherwise you are going backwards in the handling

wheels are 16's

it is lowered 60mm on gmax shocks

and it doesnt have spacers on yet, the rear disks spacer it out by 10mm and the spacers i have are 12.5mm so should be looking nicer,

will try and get them on this weekend

insurance comes through on sunday! cant wait!

Its lowered 60mm? it dosent look that low? there is still quite a gap in the arches. Could just be my eyes playing up

Are you stripping the Fiesta or just returning it to standard?

Probably has a shorter final drive on the gearbox, which is worth keeping if ever track the Puma.
