Millennium interior [changing colour]

Hi again, So i have my new milli interior with door cards all in great shape, my question is ... Has anyone dyed or painted one, my cars interior is black and my plan was to Dye seats and swap the leather inserts from the door cards onto my black ones or maybe painting the doner cards, what do you guys think ? is this all possible and what products should i use. And i would like to wish you all a merry christmas as well.
