Well,

Picked up my new Puma, and not the best of starts......

It drives fine BUT..... the temp gauge doesnt get above the very bottom of the norm section, and it gets VERY hot in the cockpit, no matter where you put the heater control.....

Where should I be looking. It does have a 1 month limited warranty on it, so want to get sorted quickly....

Cheers

the heater stuck on hot is going to be your heater control valve, under the windscreen, under the bonnet

Cheers guys,

Is this what is also causing my engine to run cold, or is this going to be somthing else.....

Its amazing I have been messing about with cars of all sorts for 12 years or so I have built a series 1 escort RS turbo from a bare shell, I have built two land rovers from a bare chassis, yet I STILL have so much to learn.....

good little test is to put it on recirculation on the heater, as this uses lessheat exchange from the engine and should show the engine getting warmew, thats what mine does.

yeah it will be inside a small housing bolted to your engine in the coolant systems pipework.

cant remember where it is though off the top of my head.

its under the manifold sort of to the left has 2 pipes goin on to a black plastic housing 4 10mm bolts!

i think my car has the same problem, although the engine warms up...i cant change the heat either.
