No Dash/Rear Lights Quick fix

Whilst I cann’t claim the credit for this quick fix, I found it very handy.
Jumping into the Puma the other night I was surprised to find that the Back lights on the Instrument Panel, Consul and on further investigation rear lights weren’t working.
The following morning checked fuses 6 and 7 all seemed ok, after a little bit of searching came across an article that recommended spraying a little bit of WD40 on the switch situated on the end of the lighting stalk and leave to soak.
Bingo worked a treat.

I'm sure I read something like that on this site but many many years ago. I could be wrong but it struck a chord in my memory when I read your post.
