Oil Usage

Not sure if its in the right section , but how often do you top up your oil on a 1.7? As i have serviced it and it was bout 3/4 way up between the min and max markers on dip stick and with in a week its just above min. There is no obvious signs of leaks so was wondering if this is normal ? Or if anyone has any ideas ?

depends,how many miles did you do in that time,and have you checked the cam cover as these often leak and you dont notice it

I have done bout 250 miles roughly , I haven't checked the cam cover but will do in the morning when its light .
