Most of my Ford owning friends, don't get the Puma, but they've never driven one, those that have though really like them.
One guy said he drove a standard one around Castle Combe and while the performance was nothing like as good as his father's Porsche, the handling made up for it.
I just love driving a Puma, especially on twisty B roads and mountain roads in Wales.

Fab article but I am claiming modern classic now fair and square, mine is 25 this year.
My garage guy took mine for a spin to warm her up for the emissions MOT test (and possibly to see what all the fuss was about) and was raving about her excellent go karty qualities when I went to pick her up.
That's in one that has now done in excess of 137,000 miles albeit with a maximum of 2 (one very careful and one pretty careful) drivers!
And yes, she passed her MOT!
