Hi all
I’m on holiday in Portugal and was really pleased to come across this early Puma in the apartment car park in my favourite colour. The props are a bit scratched and the headlight lenses bleached by the sun, but I couldn’t see a spec of rust on the arches.

I guess the climate on the Algarve helps - seem to be lots of older cars still on the road that are a rare sight in the UK- lots of original model Clio, plus late 80’s Escorts etc. Even saw a Datsun today

Hi Will
I love the Algarve the best food on Earth. I'm surprised the car isn't rotted out with the sea air.

Thanks Barry I agree, the food is superb and we did a boat trip to see dolphins today which was special. So many older cars around here, I guess either used car values are high enough in Portugal to make it economically viable to keep older cars going, or they simply last longer with less dampness in the air?

Ps sorry about the stupid photobucket watermark I need to find an alternative
