Yeah i can believe that. Your close to Brighton. I used to do some work in Hurstpierpoint occasionally. Guess I'll just keep doing the things to pass MOT and save up for a new engine and gearbox. I heard the puma engines are not quite the same after an engine skim and new head gasket.

Hi friends. Bit of an update and advice needed. Since buying my puma ive spent approximately another £1500 on her, new sills, alloys and tires and newcam belt. It looks like I'm going to have to spend another £1000+ on her, new dampners, clutch, rear arches and head gasket. At what point do you decide it's not worth spending more and try and find another :?: :| ;p :'(

Cars are a very slippery slope, it depends if the car is going to be a constant source of problems... the thing with puma's now is there so cheap, sometimes is easier just to buy another instead of forking out big bucks to repair one

Thats exactly my dilemma. But you never know really what problems I'll get with another one. At least i know now what needs doing. Arghhhhh what's the meaning of life anyway? While we're at it. That's how i feel about this situation lol

hi, been a while since I was last on here. Need some advice, I had my windscreen replaced and when they did it there were some rust under it. Can this be fixed? solution?

at the moment, I'm fairly worried if I have a prang my car is just going to crumble with me stuck inside......

Seems they did a good job of scratching your paint work too when cutting the screen out. Who was the company?

Did they put a new screen in straight Away?

I didn't even notice the scratches I was so concerned about the rust. Can't remember the name of the company. Some dodgy firm through my insurance company. Never again. Gonna move insurance company's this year even if it cost a little more.

Hiya folks, haven't been around for a while. Still haven't given up on the puma. Now I'm debt free I can start to spend some money on Panthera. Just done a full service, she's about to hit 115k miles but still going strong, she doesn't want to to give up. Dreaded the MOT but she passed with very little spent to get her through. Bought some 16" escort cosworth alloys I'll be picking up this week and some eibach springs which I believe are discontinued now. Got the last ones from fk automotive Germany.

Finally getting round to doing the rear Arches this next month with the panels we did a group buy on. Has anyone used them yet? I tried finding some threads but searching for arch replacement on this forum brings up thousands of results. If anyone has any links or pics that would be great for my body repair guy.

She will be getting a spray over after the rear arches are done.

Pics will be on their way soon :pose2:

Glad to see the forum going strong, I have lurked in the shadows for to long!
