Hi guys my puma keeps getting hot like almost over heating after 20mins driving my ICV has just died but with my ac on it takes 30mins to over heat someone has said it will be my hcv that's broke, any ideas I've got no loss of water and a cold rad but red hot header tank? Is it worth draining and refilling tge system?

I would say either HCV or thermostat.

Fiesta Zetec-S suffers from the same. Fit a colder 74c thermostat or the full Ford Focus TSB mod which solves it completely.

Hcv can cause overheating problems due to how its designed,change with only a genuine ford part only,then see what happens before you start changing anything else.
