my puma failed its mot on these

offside rear Suspension component mounting prescribed area is excessively corroded outer sill (2.4.A.3)
Exhaust has a major leak of exhaust gases (7.1.2)
Exhaust emissions Lambda reading after 2nd fast idle outside specified limits (7.3.D.3)

could the lamba reading be because of the blowing exhaust

It's most likely down to the exhaust.

outer seal welding done, new rear box which sorted the emissions, passed mot with one advisory, slightly corroded n/s front brake pipe, another year to enjoy my puma

good to hear, just make sure you replace the brake pipe as soon as....n/s is an easy one to do and for under a tenner for the pipe much better than waiting for the pedal to hit the floor
