I heard several comments on replacing the rear ABS loom.

what is the way to go if you have 20,5mm streetka spacers?
My left sensor gave up on me last weekend while replacing my 12,5mm for the 20,5mm ones.

Chuck on a loom for an Escort estate. Both of the sensors are straight as opposed to angled like the Puma ones.

I got mine from Ford at £92 and was cheaper than places like Eurocarparts.

I was searching on Ebay... but the only ones i found there, are or like the puma one or have a 90 degree angle.

because the puma ones are 30 pounds... and the escort ones i found are over 100 pounds.

Is it also possible to modify the ABS sensor from a puma to sit properly ?

I would imagine you get what you pay for.

someone has managed to get an angled Puma one in behind a spacer by forcing it in by bolting it up hard.

heard some stories of people who have filed a bit of the knuckle of the sensor...

will first try with my broken sensor then...

thats what i did, didnt realise the escort sensors worked.

Yeah i just filed some plastic away, of which there is loads to spare, and soldered some extra wire into the loom and it's been fine for about 18 months.

Got my ABS sensor to fit with 30mm spacers. All I did was cut away the plastic elbow with a dremmel. Once through the black part you will need to carefully remove the white plastic bit. Once its all cut away the cable is flexible to allow clearance. Did this on Friday and the ABS lights went out and so far have not returned.

That's what the guy did with his Ka on the Ka Owner's Club:
