hey guys

random question if it hasn't been covered

I recently gained a donor puma later version than mine, most for wiring loom and other bargain parts that came with including a spare engine and box (always handy for to have those)

its also got the rear beam where the suspension is the eye type rather than the fork type which is on mine

is there any real main difference, like structural safety etc that would benefit me swapping the rear beams over?

also on the main subject of rear beams, has anyone fitted an anti roll bar to theirs?? as I know some older fiestas/escorts had the rear anti roll bar

The eye type rear beam is wider. Early Pumas had spacers behind the hubs whereas the later ones don't. Otherwise they are the same.

Steavie has a rear ARB which i think he made himself, it's worth giving him a shout.

nice on will swap them over then! may even rob the axle spacers too to widen the rear a little bit further!

will consider that too! thanks for the help!
