Hi there, after 2 years of happy motoring, I feel it is time to move on from my Puma.
I am going to be completely honest and list everything I know about the car:
The Spec:
2000 (w) reg, Taxed and MOT'ed until end of July
Yellow, polished and looking bright.
Air Con (regasssed and cold as it should be)
Quickclear front screen.
Leather RECARO interior.
Good Points:
Low milage, just ticked over 70k this week.
NO RUST, all common areas treated with ACF-50 frequently.
Milltek 4-2-1 manifold, 200 cel sports cat and Milltek back box.
Clutch and Cambelt replaced last year, air con regassed at the same time.
2 New tyres approximately 5000 miles ago.
Powerflex rear axle bushes, powerflex anti-roll bar bushes and FRP rear lower wishbone bushes fitted 2 months ago, handles like it should.
Leather RECARO seats in great condition, no tears or rips on the bolsters.
De-tango'd side indicators.
Philips ultravision LED dipped and main beam bulbs (not HID but really bright)
Steering wheel in great condition.
Just been polished and waxed, seats and steering wheel are regularly fed with leather care balm.
Spare wheel has never been used so has unused Pirelli P6000 on it.
Luggage net.
Service at Ford a few months ago.
Bad points:
Driver's side rear foglight lens broken (£20 from a scrappy)
Airbag control module needs replacing (£40 from a scrappy)
Lower front splitter missing.
Locking wheel nut key went awol halfway through doing the rear top mounts. 1 has been replaced, the other is ready to go on. I can have the nuts removed and the other top mount fitted before sale.
Couple of very minor dings where people have opened their car into it.
Drivers side front wing is not a perfect colour match.
Front bumper is not flush by about 5mm, with some paint rippling where someone must have backed into it, front number plate also cracked.
Mark on the drivers side headlight, might come off with machine polishing.
HCV can be tempremental but always gives you the temperature you want sooner rather than later.
Slight weep from rocker cover gasket, loses less than 1 ltr of oil per 5000 miles.
Minor scuff on drivers seat base, hides eaily with leather care products.
If bought before this weekend I will throw in:
IMMACULATE gold trimmed limited edition Millennium Puma floormats, used only for 1 week.
Spare 9 spoke alloy wheel in good condition, balanced and ready to go although tyre will need replacing.
1998 earls court Ford Puma release press pack in plastic Puma folder including original press release photos.
Bluefin fault reader.
