My throttle body has a build up of carbon by the butterfly which causes it to stick. I'm trying to remove the old one so I can replace it but it seems to be stuck fast! I've removed the sensor plug and 4 bolts. Is there anything I've missed or is it just being a pig?

Thanks
Adam

They often don`t want to move.
A gentle tap should shift it, try to lever it off too.
Just be careful of using too much `persuasion` as it could damage the mating faces or linkage..

Quite often you can clean them whilst they're fitted. Carb cleaner open it up or place something on the accelerator pedal and clean off the carbon with an old tooth brush.
