Well I've just booked the car in to have the rear arches done. Scrapyard's wanted 20 quid a wing for the Peugeot front wings, I've sourced brand new wings for 20 plus vat each.
Also got garage to check underneath for rust before deciding on rear arches, all bar one patch on drivers floor then its only surface rust, rock solid sills, no rust near chassis number.
Very pleased, just gotta wait to see what sort of repair job they do on the arches.

I drove around a few local body shops for quotes.
Prices ranged from £400 for welding and paint (but there's a two month waiting list) , to £200 for just the welding.
Think I'll take the latter option and do the filling and paint myself.

Ahh well already ordered. Still they'll be getting a good rust proofing afterwards anyway. I'll make sure of that.

Ones off a scrap car will have already been subjected to 10+ years of road salt etc so pattern ones will be fine
