Hi people how hard or easy is it to change the front shock absorbers on a 1.7 puma ive done sum diy such as discs and pads rocker gasket but ive heard the tracking would have to be adjusted gratefull for any advice ta.

DO NOT TAKE THE SPRINGS OFF WITHOUT A SPRING COMPRESSOR.

You will take your head off if you dont use a spring compressor apart from that probably easier than what you have done previous, perhaps while you are there put eibach springs on? dont lose ride quality but looks sexy and performs and handles better?

right so is it just a matter of undoin bolts compressing springs and changing them or is it more complicated .

And if you then place the whole assembly in a vice, and remove the top nut, then you won't need spring compressors at all.

thanks for the advice not sure if its the sprig or the shocker its just one side lower than the other when i look at the top mount under the bonnet the shock dont seem to be leaking though ,

Would you recommend Eibach springs with normal dampers?
