Silverstone Classic meeting 2016

I was at this show last weekend with the WSCC (Westfield Sports Car Club) and what a show it turned out to be with 58 Westfields represented.

There were lots of beautiful old racing cars to watch racing or look at in the pits.

There were also classic racing bikes, all two strokes, from the 70s and 80s such as this ex Sheene RG500.



And the best of all we got to do a parade lap around Silverstone.

The on track video. There was meant to be a 40mph track limit but our AO let the Mercedes lot get well in front so we got the chance to make some noise

It would be good to do this with the Pumas when they're old enough.

Looks like it was a great day Barry,I think the Heron Suzuki is one of my all time favourite bike colour schemes.Its a very rich and brave man that takes a Lightweight E Type on track!

It was a great weekend and it's a shame Barry Sheene wasn't there to take the Suzuki around the track :-(
You're right about the lightweights and there were a few there as well. They are so pretty.... as well as fast.
