Stereo Turns Off!!

Hi all.
Peter is having problems again. I have only had him for 3 weeks but the cracks have started to appear with him now.
A few days back he wouldn't start and a neighbour had to give me a jump start, but he hasn't done that again since, luckily.
The standard stereo that is fitted has started to turn off while I'm driving along.
Sometimes just when a cd is playing. Other times when I change the radio station.
Any ideas???
Yes I'm female and no I don't really know too much about cars.lol

Check that the removable panel is in and a good fit. You can gently bend the pins to get a better fit (I did say gently!)

Yup - both my pumas need a little tweak of the contacts every 18 months or so.

Though I rarely use the stereo in the FRP as it sounds so damn good!
