I have some strange noises on my front suspension, first one is a "tink" noise that happens occasionally. Yesterday I went over a small bump at low speed and it sounded like something was falling apart, sort of like "tink tink tink TINK TINKLE TINK tink". Its the worst I've ever heard it so I thought I should ask if anyone here knows what it could be?

The other noise happens when I reverse at full lock, it sounds like the spring is getting "wound up" and stuck, then when it reaches a certain point it releases its energy with a loud "THUD-donnnng" sound. It usually happens if the car sits for a while, after its made the noise it can't be made again until it sits for a while.

I have had the car up on a ramp but everything looks ok, so not really sure what it could be... I know my car doesn't have the steering rack limiter like the FRP so full lock is more on mine than what it would be on a standard one. I wonder if that could cause problems since they must have had a reason to fit it (I can think of one good reason which is past a certain point, on a slippery surface, full lock will make the car jump around as the wheels fight each other).

Anyone got any ideas what these noises could be?

Thanks!
