Towing a Trailer with a Trackday Puma On

Hello Everyone,

Just a quick question to see if anyone can help?

If you are towing a trailer with your trackday Puma on it, does you car insurance cover the trailer should an accident happen or do you need seperate insurance for the trailer?

Also what happens if somene hits your trailer and totals your trackday car, I'm assuming that will be covered by their insurance?

Or what happens if your uninsured trackday car comes off the trailer and hits another car? Is it classed as criminal damage and you just have to pay for the repairs on the other persons car out of your own pocket?

I'd call your own insurers as your first point of call to find out.

Id echo what Dal said.

As for if the car came off then Id think your insurance would pay out possibly as its a car registered in your name and the car your towing it with is insured.

Best to check with the insurer though.
