Hi Folks got some questionable gold alloys on my 1.7 x reg and tyre says max 50psi ? can anyone recommend the correct ? The tyres are 205/407R17. Found someone with a fiesta saying he puts 2.2 bar in front and 2.0 in back ?
Would think it’s up to the individual driver.Would start with 28psi front 26 rear hot.Then adjust according to your feelings.50 psi is the MAXIMUM PRESSURES recommended for the tyre not what you want!
Thanks Dave the tyres look a bit shabby when I bought it do intend to get 4 new from my local guy, when I asked him what it should be he just said “ it doesn’t really matter “ !
A good relatively cheap tyre that really suits the Puma is Uniroyal Rainsport 3.We run them on various cars for the road and on a Puma on 15” wheels find 25 psi front and 23 back suits our needs.
