VCT operating and coolant temperature

To Puma VCT gurus - is there a preset coolant temperature that the VCT is fully functional at? Reason I ask, i'm looking at fitting a cooler thermostat for track use in the summer but on the road, it may run quite cool, and the last thing I want is for the VCT to not fully operate as designed! Any info appreciated, i know the VCT takes info from MAF, coolant and intake temperatures, but not the actual figures themselves.

Since they produced a separate ECU controlling unit, they should know what interests you. Perhaps contacting them?
