I haven't risked buying one myself as I'm sure that they might be just too wide to fit in a Puma correctly but for anyone looking to get a cheap track day seat for a bigger car these should be outstanding value.

http://www.amazon.co.uk/BucketSeat-Type-Black-SP-fabric/dp/B005BP5OP0/ref=sr_1_3?s=automotive&ie=UTF8&qid=1449996214&sr=1-3" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

They have been continually dropping in price daily for the last couple of weeks but might have bottomed out now as they didn't reduce by anything today. Below is a link which has better info on the seat

The included runners sell for £20 themselves if bought separately so it's not a lot all in

Does anyone have a definitive answer to whether these fit a standard non track puma because these do seem like a good buy. I'm looking at buying seats for mine but not got much of a budget left now that christmas is approaching!

I did some rough measurements and it looked too tight to be honest. It may be possible if the seat can be moved far enough into the centre of the car to allow the shoulder wing of the seat to fit inside the body but I wasn't prepared to take the risk personally as there was no way telling how it would effect things like the seatbelt pretensioner or handbrake/gearstick. I just paid the extra for the one below which isn't as wide after returning the original bucket seat I bought a week or so ago as it had a slight manufacturing fault;

I am still planning on having this seat slightly more towards the centre of the car though if it can be done as I don't seem to sit very straight in the standard seat unless I sit towards one side. I'm also going to try and make use of the gap that I have behind the seat at the moment and set the new one further back hopefully stretching my legs out a bit, the subframe I've bought should allow me to do both of these adjustments with a bit of redrilling. Hopefully getting my body straighter, a bit less scrunched up and held in more tightly will take away my only real criticism I have with the car

If your not fussed on having a fixed back seat or saving much weight these are the other seats that have had their prices canned. These ones should fit a lot easier being 6cm thinner than the BS7's and you wouldn't lose access to the back seat's if your planning on changing both sides. All you would really require then would be a couple of subframes and maybe the top hat risers if your particular Puma requires them. The subframe I bought was just under £70 by itself though so you'd be doubling the cost and more;

Again better info on this website;

I bought the subframe from these guy's and they have been very very good to deal with so I would defo recommend them

http://www.sportseats4u.co.uk/omp-ford-puma-direct-fit-subframes/prod_2668.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

2 x seats = £110.96
2 x frames = £138.18
2 x risers = £20 second hand

So about £270 all in to change the front seats. You could even save on the frames and try to pick up some Fiesta MK3.5 runners but I was too impatient so didn't wait around
