What is the best way of cleaning the washer bottle as mine smells like rotten eggs  It has got a recipet when I bought the car that the last owner paid £30 to have it cleaned out. Also my dad cleaned my mum's old Clio's bottle out by disconnecting the hose, chucking a steredent tablet in and running it into a plastic bottle a few times. Is that the best way? Cheers :D

To get to the washer bottle, you will have to turn the wheels fully to the left, then remove the insert? behind the drivers wheel to get to the washer bottle, there is a filter in the botton of the bottle, which is where your smell is coming from, you can remove the filter and clean it, or as i recall, the washer bottle unbolts and can be removed for cleaning.

I know YOG posted a 'how to thread' regarding this on Pumapeople, but not sure if he transfered it here too.

I didn't do it, but here's the link:
