Well Hello!

Hiya all. Pete's the name, just joined the forums as I collected my new toy today, a 1999 1.7 Puma. This looks like one of the better Puma forums so hope you guys may be able to give me some pointers.
The car has some cosmetic "issues" but this doesn't concern me as the idea is to strip, lighten and tweak to create a usable tack day car.
I'll go start a thread in the projects section with some piccytures.

Car looks good, and no arch rust! I hate you for that lol.

If your going stripped out track then buy a heat gun to remove the sound deadening, it will take you forever otherwise, trust me

Thanks guys.
I've spent a couple of days reading various threads on the forums. Past experience also dictates that sound deadening is a right royal pain to remove, so I'm under no illusions. Already have the heat gun ready to go. Might leave that job until the winter when the warmth will be more welcome though! :lol:
