Spent a while getting my old girl ready for winter, this is basically what I do bearing in mind she sits out in all weathers.
Does anyone else have any more tips? I know ideally she should be tucked away in a centrally heated garage all winter but my Puma ownership is about using and enjoying
Here,s a few of the prep ideas I use
I always put duct tape over the sills to prevent stone chips
Always tape around the sill area by the corner of the door, they always chip and rust here
Touch any specs of rust that may be forming, there was a tiny spot here on mine so although it doesn,t quite look factory any more it was Dremelled out coat of Rust Remedy and touched back in.
I buy gallons of this stuff £1.99 at Aldi
Handy for spraying seams to keep salt etc out I keep up with this all winter
All this is on top of the usual jobs, full service in September and a regrease underneath...any other tips?
