This should only really be done by people that aren't worried about disconnecting air bags etc.
You will need to have your new wheel to hand and ensure that you have the correct clock spring for your airbag (assuming you are fitting a direct replacement)
If you are fitting an after market steering wheel which does not have an airbag then you will find that once you connect everything back together that your airbag light will either be constantly lit or will flash every 3-5 seconds. There are ways around this but we have not tested these and hence are not covered in our guides.
