For the step down, or if you know the draw current you could add a simple resistor (make sure you get a resistor that can cope with the power dissipation.)

Didnt think of those. Was thinking a small 5v comm relay that can shift 12v through??
Im assuming with one of these i can do away with the relay and maybe power the actuator direct through this??
Ive aquired 10x ttp3 touch sensor pads for the switches. One issue is they do nt hold constant continual power which i why ive intergrated delay relays to theoreticaly cut power flow after short time.
The relays are omron h3y relays.
