Dont the roads get wet and the temp drop below 7dg down south ?? Not just snow ! Studded tyres are illegal in the uk ! A 4x4 on 'summer tyres' will slip and slide on snow or ice just the same ! My Range Rover has its 'winter' tyres on now.

Have any of you good people thought about some winter boots for your Puma ? 'Normal' tyres are now much more focused on seasonal use ( not just snow!). The 'normal' compound mix we buy here in UK starts to fall off below 9 to 7 dg. That means in real terms if you had 'winter' tyres on you...

Most important do the lights still look the right colour ? Mr Plod will have a 'chat' as will Mr MOT if they dont ! Cool they may look , but are they safe ??

Would the pub or petrol station on the end of the M67 at Hollingworth be a better place ? its on the way for you all from any part of M/cr !

like all race cars they need to be warm before you put your foot down ! 6R4 was worse ,that had to tick over in gear on axle stands before you ran it,just could not change gear,till they found a new oil !! Just the thing to get the takeout home warm though ! :lol: No boot to talk about for...

Standard pas rack is 2 1/2 turns lock to lock I am told so a 'quick rack' would be no 'quicker' ! Saved you £50/£60 ! :lol:

And how did they do the rallys they did over 4/5 days ? Think about it,plus you never ever run at 100% all the time ( no matter how good you think you are !) Mine runs once a month and has a drive at the same time , keeps everything 'happy'.

Not quite that bad in road tune,but not far off ! Tranny and diffs take more harm ! Set it to full go ( 650 BHP ish) and it wont last long ! Its a pig to drive though ( as is any comp car on the road).
