How To: Rear Beam Bush Replacement

Good guide! I fitted poly bushes again as I had them on my last puma.To help line up the holes, once they're roughly in place lots of WD40 sprayed down the side helps!

    Hot Hot Heat!

After changing the heater control valve (genuine ford part) it's still blowing hotter than the sun! What would be the next likely culprit? Heater control panel or the resistor? All the fuses are O.K and the fan works on all 4 settings. Are the cheapo resistors on ebay any good or does this...

    Another abs problem!

Update! I changed both rear rings and it everything was ok for 73 miles! Now the light will be on for a day or 2 then off for a day or 2. It's stopped doing the constantly on thing where the pedal goes hard so changing the rear rings must've fixed something back there! What else is there that...

    The Englishman's Puma

I fitted one to mine last month, you'll need to cut a bit out of the plastic on the back of the clock to make the connector fit, it's easy enough! I used a Dremel but a Stanley knife would do it.

    Another abs problem!

Excellent thanks. I changed a rear wheel bearing last month so it could well be this! The ring looked ok at the time but I'll change both sides and see what happens. Thanks again.

    Another abs problem!

Hello, If anyone's got any suggestions it'd be much appreciated! I'm having issues with my ABS. A few weeks ago the light came on, then went off again, then back on a few times for 2 or 3 days until it was constantly on. Just after doing the self check it made a constant grinding noise similar...

    Winter proofing.

Thanks for the replies! I looked at getting a set of steel 15's but trying to find the tyres in this size is turning out to be a bit of a mission, everywhere is out of stock! A lot of 13's about though, I haven't looked for 14 so hopefully somewhere will have them in. If I can find some in 15 I...

    Winter proofing.

Hello everyone! I picked up my second puma last month. It's a 2001 1.7 with 70K on the clock, it had no tax or MOT and had been sat dying for a few months. The air con isn't working, rust had started underneath the sill protectors, the interior light doesn't come on when you open the doors...
