Hot Hot Heat!

After changing the heater control valve (genuine ford part) it's still blowing hotter than the sun!

What would be the next likely culprit? Heater control panel or the resistor? All the fuses are O.K and the fan works on all 4 settings.

Are the cheapo resistors on ebay any good or does this need to be genuine ford too?

Heater control panel in my experience. - I had exactly the same symptoms.

If you have a voltmeter you can see the voltage swinging when the control panel is working on the connector that goes on the valve. Set the temperature dial to half way with everything running.

It was showing 0V in all positions so new panel it is!
